Metro monsta

ATTACK OF THE METRO MONSTAAAAA. Public transport has been playing up real bad these couple of days. Good thing I didn't have to go through that because I haven't been into the city by tram.

Also it has been raining a lot as you can see. It feels like its about 5 degrees right now.

Sportsgirl disposable

I got a sportsgirl disposable camera during LMFF. I miss film. I need to put all those film cameras lying around to good use!&

Lots of love from my friends, taken at various places around Melbourne: the woodlands (the best pub ever), 615 party at the dojo where I was partying with a loaf of fruit bread in my hands! Multitasking ftw. And North Melbourne.

Also, I cracked my iPad screen CRIES.

Desktop Mag

I've been up to stuff, I'm not just bumming around eating Easter chocolates you know. I managed to be cool enough for Eddie Zammit (of T-World) and Mike D (of Acclaim) to give me my 15 seconds of fame! As you can see I'm in a 4 page spread in a national magazine. Super-cool is an understatement.

If you don't know what Desktop magazine is (or you haven't heard of them) I suggest you get out of under your sheets and blankets ASAP, because you are missing outttttt. They're always so well put together visually (naturally) even their ads seem to flow well with the rest of the content. Geez.

Its the music issue #281 APR 2012 if anyone (i.e. in Singapore etc etc) wants to go look for it!

Photo Slice: Easter Weekend

Usually, I would have put up a photo displaying my chocolate loot but it wasn't the star of the show this year.

This is what I got up to this Easter long weekend: Lots of dessert, chocolate, impressive double rainbows, Creswick sunsets and crystal buying sprees. Needless to say, I am up to my eyeballs full of inspiration. Now I just need to make them come to life.

Hecktor the Cacti.

Made more terrariums!!! yayaya. now I need to look for more glass jars to repot the rest of them kiddies.

This guy's name is Hecktor, as in Hector Salamancas from Breaking Bad. Because he is one super PRICKLY little bugger. I was struggling to repot him cause I couldn't hold him by the head bit. Ahhah. I hope he's not too traumatized because I used an oven mitt. eeps.

Also I did some research AFTER re-potting him and apparantly I'm doing it wrong. Hopefully Hecktor is hardier than most cacti and hopefully I won't have to take him out and do it again. whoops.

Tim Tam cheesecake mousse

Finally! Something I can call my invention! Well, not fully, but it will probably be the closest thing I'll ever get to an invention.

Behold! My tim tam cheesecake mousse! I'm pretty sure no one will be dying for the recipe so I won't put it up. Also, I checked before I claimed it as mine, the first page of search results when i googled 'tim tam cheesecake mousse' showed nothing. YESZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!!!!!!!!!

Its not a true mousse, its not super aerated like normal chocolate mouse... but it is light and fluffy! Maybe I'll try it the legit way next time.

The amount of free shit I got during fashion week! I'm definitively set for the rest of the year when it comes to beauty products. There's a lot more that didn't make the picture because I'm already in the process of using them!
