Photo slice: Leopardine

A super quick photoshoot with leopard Nadine after school. She asked me if I'd like her better if she was an animal. I think I like her all the same if she was human! She'd make a good leopard though. Also, don't judge the make up. I was in a rush! eeppps

Photo Slice: Flowers from work.

I had my last day at Dulux on the 17th of the month and I didn't hit me until I was on the train home ( I always get emotional when its too late). I got so many lovely baked goods and gifts from the people at Dulux. I arranged the beautiful oriental lilies and pastel pink roses that Laila and Tina gave to me in the only vase I could find. The vase worked out all right but all these flower arranging makes me want to do a floral arrangement class. They also smelt as good as they look
Susan made some cafe standard macaroons with her very own lemon butter and blueberry filling. mmfff. I wish she had made more! I would have definitely paid $2.80 for it! (Susan, cash in on this!) Sam made the cutest shreck shortbread cookies. too cute to eat. ( I wear shreck ears to work) I gobbled all my baked goods before the sun came down nonetheless.

Also, Aimee had given us the most fragrant roses I have ever smelt in my life for Valentines. Organic and straight from her garden! I would totes buy a valentines day stalk for $20 if I knew it was going to smell that good. I wish I could put it down in words but all I can think of is that it smells like heart shapes. Thousands of heart shapes sailing past your nose, all over your face and into the back of your head. That is how strong it is. (Aimee, you should also cash in on this)

Photo Slice: The beautiful girls

The beautiful girls were performing at the zoo last weekend. The animals were still out so we got to see them for a bit. Hence the obligatory animal shots. Also, you can see the ADORABLE (very expensive; 20 dollars) brie that I got, specially for my girls (Sam and Aimee) for valentines day. Too bad our 'palates' weren't acquired enough for expensive cheese. It wasn't that tasty :( Maybe I just got suckered in by the shape and it was a bad cheese to begin with.

Photo Slice: Venus Bay

It is what you think it is! a mobile exhibition/museum featuring a penguin pelt, mermaids purses and a whale vertebrae amongst other various sea oddities.

A couple of weekends ago Tim invited us to his beach house in Venus bay. Body boarded for the first time, frolicked in the sea without my glasses for the first time, and got dunked by a double wave the first time. I guess I'll have to get used to if I want to learn how to surf. HO HO HO.

Venus Bay is famous for its Pipis and pipi harvesting; there are signs everywhere limiting the amount of pipis you can harvest written in Chinese. I didn't get to see many pipis cause the asian people had harvested them all. Haha. We hung out lots in the beach furthest away from the main road, so it was peacefully quiet and incredibly refreshing. The fact that I couldn't see anyone because I didn't have my glasses on made it seem like there was absolutely no at all.

Tims parent's beach house was incredibly cute and so well decorated with random bits of driftwood, wide white weather boards and beautiful polished floorboards. I would love to live by the sea, though the 2 hour drive from the city isn't too flash.
